The Great Race was shown at the Cannes Festival this year. It's about Midge, the one-eyed cat who loves to run and is rather good at it. ;) In fact, she outruns her buddy, Marty, all the time. It's great!

Three nuns and a Ford Fiesta

I read a story today about three speeding nuns in Italy (aged 56, 65 and 78) who were caught doing 180 kph in a Ford Fiesta. Apparently, they were rushing to the Pope's holiday residence after hearing that he had suffered a minor fall. They wanted to visit him to make sure he was okay. The driver's licence has been suspended for one month and she's been fined approximately $600. The rather swift nun is planning to appeal her charge.

Who knew a Ford Fiesta could go 180 kph.

My willpower is pretty good, but there are certain times when the will and the power divorce and it's treason. All hands on deck grab the sweets, chocolates and all things that start with carb and end with ate.

Okay, another one of my favourite films is Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder (*heart*), Teri Garr, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman and Peter Boyle. Ha ha - this is hilarious. Hilariously silly that is.
